Stunning E.L. Lighting Panels

Daytona Visual Marketing have created a stunning range of E.L. panels as part of an exciting and unique multi million pound project, The Leamington Assembly. The grade 2 Listed building has undergone a stunning transformation, making it potentially the finest entertainment venue of its kind in the U.K.

Owner Nigel Dalley along with celebrity designer Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen tasked Daytona with producing a series of illuminated images “to intrigue and enhance the ambience” in the bar and lounge areas. Mr Dally said, “Standard framed light boxes are not an option” when the brief was given to Daytona.

Daytona created the solution with images seemingly illuminated from nowhere. Completely frameless, mounted on stand off fittings and only 11 mm thick.

Using Electroluminescent ‘EL’ technology, Daytona reproduced a series of 11 images echoing the iconic stone statue on the main façade of the building for the main bar area, complimented by a  collection of 15 stained glass effect artworks in the lounge area.

The stained glass is a reproduction of part of the huge window at the front. Comments Mr Dalley, “Daytona’s solution is perfect. They have created exactly what Lawrence and I were looking for. The effect is simply stunning.”

E.L Technology is highly energy efficient, using only 20% of energy of standard low energy fluorescent tubes. The E.L. technology is also very easy to install, minimising the hefty budgets normally required for this type of installation.
